A Vision of Human Flourishing
The origins and inspiration of Orgasmic Meditation from OM founder Nicole Daedone
A Modality Oriented Towards Human Connection
Remarks from Orgasmic Meditation founder Nicole Daedone
When I looked at methods for spiritual advancement, I wanted something that was based in connection. Orgasmic Meditation is safe and an accelerated modality for growth as the science is now showing. More to the point, it promotes human connection. The other practices that I’ve done, all of which I still would not do without, can be done in isolation. If I was going to move into the Zen Center, or if I was going to do OM, that was the choice that I made.
I wanted it to be that I wanted something that had me be a more connected human being so that ultimately I could benefit humanity. What I discovered is the greatest challenge to benefiting humanity that I found is humanity.

The malaise we feel is one of disconnection. There is a state of consciousness where you feel a wider sense of connection to all things. That is what Orgasmic Meditation offers.

About Nicole Daedone
Nicole is an author, activist and creator; 20 years ago she created Orgasmic Meditation which has now been studied by top research universities in the country and endorsed by some of the biggest names in Hollywood, she co-founded OneTaste, a company that at its peak had 35,000 customers around the world coming to its workshops to learn about the philosophy she calls Eros. She also created the Prison Monastery, a novel approach to incarceration which was adopted at a Level 4 prison in California. All before she herself was canceled in a big way.
It is the human impulse to want to move to a point of freedom. And so whatever that impulse was in me, I was seeking and I thought I had found it.

On How She First Found OM
“Today, it was 25 years ago that I had my first rough approximation of an OM. I had done meditation, I had done yoga. I was coming out of intensive, psychedelic personal research, and I had done some deep dives into flow through roller skating. I knew the human impulse to move to a point of freedom. I was at a Zen party and I was planning on moving into the Zen center, and one of the practitioners said to me, “Oh, have I have something for you? It was great pickup line.”
When you tap into the state accessible in OM, you feel connected to another human being. And when you feel connected to another human being, you begin this wider sense of being connected to all things and something naturally heals itself in that state.

On Her First OM Experience
“There was a sense of going through a curtain and beyond it was this clear open highway.
I had access to a very, very deep sense of knowing, a sense of being connected to all things…a lack of self-consciousness. That ruminating mind was gone, and a feeling of almost as if I had lived with this sense that something was possible and now it was here.”
The Eros Sutras, Volume 4: Relationship
Volume 4 applies the exploration of Eros into the realm of connection with others to transform relationships, exploring friendships, lovers, partners, and even those who appear to be enemies. This fourth volume provides an alternative to conventional notions of love, sexuality, and relationships.
The Eros Sutras, Volume 5: Liberation
Volume 5 offers an exploration of the human experience of freedom, justice, and liberation. It is a powerful guide to understanding the human experience of freedom and justice, and how to navigate the journey towards personal and collective liberation with grace, resilience, and creativity.
